The story of Silver View Equine (SVE) began long before its official opening in 2019. For Rebecca, a life with horses has been a journey of evolution, passion, and a deep-seated commitment to the horse’s well-being.
A Foundation in Versatility
Rebecca’s equestrian roots run deep, beginning in the Hunter Jumper rings where she competed until 2010. Seeking a new challenge, she transitioned to the high-energy world of Barrel Racing for several years, a move that sharpened her horsemanship and adaptability across disciplines.
The Turning Point: Rehab & Rescue
Everything changed when Rebecca met her "heart horse," Soldier. He not only brought her back to her English riding roots but ignited a lifelong mission: rehabbing and retraining horses with troubled pasts.
During her time in Bend, Oregon, Rebecca dedicated herself to the rescue world, successfully rehabbing and rehoming numerous horses, including several Off-Track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs). This work evolved further when she met Rebel, a Welsh stallion whose transformation under Rebecca’s careful guidance solidified her reputation for patient, effective training.
Small Equines & Big Ambitions
In 2021, Rebecca’s journey took another exciting turn. From driving rescued draft horses to discovering a passion for ponies, she set her sights on the competitive world of ASPC, AMHA, AMHR, NSPPR, and ASPIR.
Her return to the show ring was nothing short of remarkable. In her first year back, Rebecca earned Top Amateur honors with Elks Creek Hott Off the Press—a horse she trained herself. Her success continued with top-three finishes for the promising young mare Desert Springs DBL Hot Shot, and high honors for Bar Z’s Soul Shaker, the first Modern Performance Pony to join the SVE roster.
The Next Chapter: Kentucky
Today, Silver View Equine has entered a beautiful new chapter in Kentucky. Nestled in the heart of horse country, Rebecca is focusing her years of experience on a premier breeding program and the continued training of her beloved horses. At SVE, the mission remains the same: honoring the horse's past while building a bright, successful future.
